Dyslexia Campaign

Dyslexia, a widely prevalent learning disorder, often goes unnoticed by children until they encounter difficulties with reading and spelling, setting them apart from their peers. The main objective of this poster campaign was to present dyslexia in a simple and relatable manner to children, encouraging them to consider if they might be affected by it. By promoting early identification, we can expedite the process of addressing their symptoms. It's crucial to emphasize that individuals with dyslexia do not need "fixing"; instead, they possess a unique ability to develop exceptional problem-solving skills.

The driving force behind launching this dyslexia awareness campaign is deeply personal, as I have personally faced and overcome this condition. Reflecting on my own journey, I realized that I did not receive the necessary support during my formative years, which exacerbated the challenges I faced. Additionally, I had no prior knowledge of dyslexia or its implications. While I may resist being defined solely by dyslexia, it has imparted invaluable lessons that extend beyond revealing my limitations in spelling. Dyslexia has illuminated diverse problem-solving approaches, sometimes requiring taking a step back to move forward.
